Through the joint efforts of the Department of Trade and Industry and the College of Business Administration and Accountancy in preparing the opening of the trade bazaar exhibit it was successfully opened last August 30, 2016 at Peace Plaza, Mindanao State University Main Campus. This is the first time that MSU helds this kind of exhibit, therefore it was exciting to witness the said opening. The exhibit was open to all vendors or businessmen and women.
The event was hosted by one of the instructors in Marketing Department. Marketing students gave an intermission number and showed their moves in dancing to entertain the viewers. There are different stalls came from different colleges and different places like stalls from College of Agriculture, College of Hotel and Restaurant Management, College of Fisheries, okir including the College of Business Administration and Accountancy practitioners. The venue which is the peace plaza was full of foods that were new in our sights and clothes as well.
The said event was attended by the employees, staffs, instructors, and other individuals especially the instructor and professors from college of Business Administration and Accountancy together with the dean and also the students who were actively participating in the opening.  President Habib Watamama Macaayong together with his better half was also there. MSU on its 55th Foundation Day

Accordingly Mindanao State University (MSU) was established on September 1, 1961 through RA 1387, as amended, was the brain child of the late Senator Domocao A. Alonto, as one of the government’s responses to the so-called “Mindanao Problem”. Today, MSU has various units in areas which cut across the Mindanao regions. From a one campus university in Marawi City. MSU has grown to a multi-campus university of eight autonomous campuses, which include: MSU-Main in Marawi City, MSU-IIT in Iligan City, MSU-TCTO in Tawi-Tawi, MSU-Naawan in Misamis Oriental, MSU-Maguindanao, MSU-General Santos, MSU-Sulu in Jolo and MSU Buug in Zamboanga Sibugay.[4]
The Mindanao State University also known as the “melting pot of the south” celebrates its 55th foundation day with the theme “In partnership with the National Government in Pursuing Reforms towards Peace and Poverty Alleviation”. The parade started at 7:00 A.M. A long long parade because MSU is composed of 17 colleges. Festive is the best thing to describe MSU in that time. Every college prepares different yells even though we are very exposed in the sunlight but it is all worth it because we really enjoy it. The hosts welcome every college and they introduces it by naming its future career. Imagine how old Mindanao State University is? I am very proud to be part of MSU to be an Msuan, because it is not easy. You are  Msuan if you will survive not just for the safety aspects but all the aspects. Because of hotness the people are thirsty and hungry so they visited the trade bazaar in the peace plaza and buy foods and the others are taking photos.

The celebration in the morning was successful and in the afternoon there will be a discussion about Federalism in the Dimaporo Gymnasium.

This is Me

Have you ever felt like you were made to do something?

I am Jeia and I want to do so many things in my life.

“  You have to believe in yourself when no one does and that’s what makes you a winner”
-          Venus Williams
I really love this adage because it makes me realize something very important. My name is Jeia Manto Tubo, 21 years of age, BSBA Entrepreneurial Marketing. Manufactured by Mr. Junito Tubo and Mrs Virginia Tubo, product of the province of love, Dinagat Islands. I have 6 siblings.
About myself? It is a difficult question for me because I am a woman who is not fun of sharing my life to others but this time it is a big challenge for me to do this. So here it goes. I am a type of person who can easily be disappointed and I am afraid of rejection. I don’t want to be rejected but entering the business world made me realize that I should accept rejections because it is one of the spices in the business— to be rejected by others. This is one of the challenges that should be accepted.  I don’t want to wait, I don’t want in the noisy place and I don’t want to be with a serious person. Talent? Last time I checked I love dancing because that is one of my passions but when I enter college I slowly forget that passion, not totally forget but not now, because I realized that college life is not that easy so I decided to forget that just for now and maybe when I graduate, I will pursue that passion of mine. Accordingly, you cannot serve two masters at a time and yes, it is true for me because all I want is to focus on my studies. I am a very emotional person and sometimes loner but I love myself this way. Sometimes I am weird because I keep talking to myself and staring in the people who pass by, to the flowers, and to the grasses.  Dreams? I have a lots dreams and one of those is to travel around the world especially in Paris I want to take a look in Eiffel tower and take some pictures. I just want to explore the world like Dora.

A woman who have dreams in life, a lovable one and hope to be loved also by those people I love, approachable, and friendly. This is me I have lots of imperfections and flaws I am not perfect but I am a child of God.
